Aid and Abet

sound-art-text:

Sound art festival in Cambridge next weekend

Aid & Abet was one of the galleries I showed in last year, a show curated by Mermaid & Monster entitled ‘Like a Monkey With a Miniature Cymbal’

Thanks to Electric Knife Records for a RAD day!
If you’re in London and into experimental music you need to visit this shop, not just to buy stuff but also because Thanasis (the highly enthusiastic guy running the place) is working hard to encourage a sense of community with events like yesterday’s afternoon of live noise performances by artists from Norway/Denmark, Finland and the UK. From what I gathered yesterday we can hopefully expect more in-store gigs.
