Ian Watson (Uh Oh Watson) will also be contributing to the Zinesters Slideshow and selling his zines and work at Zinesters.
His latest Zine is called Brain Blood Volume. He describes it in his own words as “For my latest zine in the Brain Blood Volume series I decided to try something a little different by way of applying the stylings of my previous artworks to figures present in a collection of found photographs.
The photos were enlarged to A3 prints on cartridge paper and worked over in black and white inks before being scanned and collected in zine format.”

[Wyndham is being consumed by beetles]

Wyndham: I’ve got a message for you, and you’re not going to like it.

Brian: Look at his chest!

[Wyndham’s suit coat opens to reveal swarms of beetles]

Wyndham: Pray for death!

[Wyndham’s head falls off, and his body starts coming apart]

Brian: [in horror] Jesus Christ!

One of my favourite BMX videos. Nowhere Fast by Dave Parrick.

Each copy of the each of the BBV zines is hand stamped and numbered.

I’ll also have a few t-shirts and prints with me. Come and say hello and check out all of the other fantastic work on sale!

Palace Brothers: “Come In”

I remember first watching this on a shoddy VHS copy a friend had got posted to him by his penpal, late 90’s I guess. That feeling of sharing something exciting and somehow illicit as a copied music video was shrouded and bolstered by the burnt-out, fuzzy image and muffled soundtrack on that tape.
